Objections to a Licence

Who can object to a licence?

Under section 40 of the Real Estate Agents Act 2008 anyone can object to the issue of a licence. They can only object on the grounds specified in this section of the Act.

They must advise the Registrar of their objection within 14 days of the applicant's second advertisement in respect of the licence sought.
