What happens once I have sent in my objection?
- For your objection to be processed, we must have received a licence application from the person you are objecting to. If no application has been received from the person concerned, your objection will be held until an application is received.
- A copy of your objection will be sent to the licence applicant.
- The licence applicant will have the opportunity to respond to the Registrar, in writing, regarding the objection.
- If the licence applicant does respond, a copy of the response will be sent to you and you can make further comment if you want to.
- The Registrar will hold a hearing to consider the evidence (after giving at least 14 days’ notice to the licence applicant and any objector/s).
- Once the Registrar has made a decision on the eligibility of the licence applicant to hold a licence, the applicant and the objector/s will be advised of the outcome.
