Real Estate Agents Authority announces the New Code of Conduct for the real estate industry (15 October 2009)

15 October 2009: The Real Estate Agents Authority has released rules today, which set the standard for the real estate industry when dealing with people buying or selling a property in New Zealand.

The Real Estate Agents Act (Professional Conduct and Client Care) Rules 2009 set a code of conduct that has been developed in consultation with the industry and is based on best practice in occupational regulation, Authority Chairperson Ms Kristy McDonald, QC said today.  Click here to read the media release [PDF, 47.1 kb].
